Stayed here before, liked staff and location. My room included a personal safe, a living area and ironing facilities. The lunch in Olive Garden within walking distance of the hotel had every choice imaginable.
We liked location and drinks here. The hotel was located next to restaurants, the parks. Also, A 400 ft Tall Giant Observation Wheel was placed in direct proximity. Super base for exploring Orlando.
I loved it, its food and drinks.
This is our second time in this hotel so we already knew what to find. We are a family with 2 children now aged 14 and 12. The room with one bedroom was a very good option because it allows us to close the door to separate the children from us, the kitchenette included with a very good microwave and dishwasher was ideal for some dinners with light meals after long days of parks. The location of the hotel was ideal for us since we shared our time with universal parks, Disney and some local tours. There are restaurants for dinner nearby with suitable prices. Breakfast is good, there are not too many things but there are always waffles in addition to coffee with varied pastries and some egg dishes that vary from day to day. In short: we repeated a previous experience (8 years before) and it went very well.
The furniture in the room could be improved, in our case a chest of drawers had a drawer that had to be locked with a paper, otherwise it would only open making it difficult to pass. The doors of a closet did not run easily. In short, the negative points were minor and did not include a negative experience in the stay. We would return to the hotel.
Free transportation to all the major theme parks (ie. Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc.). The free breakfast was great and the waffles were delicious. I looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Just remember to get there at 7:00. It gets pretty crowded later in the morning and then it becomes difficult to find a place to sit. The kitchen in the suite (especially the refrigerator/freezer) came in handy. The location of the Suite was convenient. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. I especially appreciate that "Friendly's" was across the street. Their food was yummy and they open till late so we could walk across the street and have a late night dinner or snack when we got back from our busy day. They make their own ice cream and have a wide selection to choose from. I was even thinking of buying a carton to keep in my freezer in the suite! I loved the spaciousness of the suites. Lots of room to unpack and relax. The dining area of Homewoods is beautiful and clean.
One of the elevators was "out of service" for most of the 7 days that we were there. Only one elliptical in the fitness room. I don't use the treadmill, so if someone was on the elliptical when I went to the fitness room, there went my morning exercise routine. I tried to go to the fitness room by 5:30 every morning to get a better chance of getting that elliptical. There was a sink and dishes, but no dishwashing soap and/or sponges to wash the dishes. I like to wash my dishes right away. It would be awesome to provide airport shuttle/bus service for your guests as well.
The rooms were very comfortable and big they had a free shuttle service to Disney and you can buy universal tickets from a counter in the lobby and get free transport to universal also breakfast was ok
Not something I didn't like but I was charged a higher price( I did book it a little early there prices had gone up since then ) but they fixed the problem fast and it was them that contacted the visa company so they were very promotional about it
We visited the walt disney parks
It s a very nice place ta stay
The location and the room complete with a kitchen.
They have hit my credit card for 58.71 without explanation. I tried to resolve it and was stonewalled at the front desk.
We have stayed at cheaper hotels and this beats them hands down and I'm sure it was easier on our budget. We stayed during the week and enjoyed great hot breakfasts and happy hour/dinner every evening. They even served turkey and trimmings on Thanksgiving! Free parking and Wifi, no resort fee and being able to cook in your room (no oven)...it all added up to big savings when it came down to it. We will definitely return here when we visit Orlando.
Room was better than I expected, bed very comfortable. Didn't make use of the kitchen other than the fridge but looked clean and modern. Continental style breakfast suited me perfectly.
Bed super comfortable and the pillows are the best. The nightly dinner and beer and wine was an added surprise.
Elevators slow sometimes.
Check in was super. The room was spotless. The staff was very nice. Those are our 3 true deciding factors in staying at a hotel. We checked in very late and the night clerk was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast looked delicious (and prob. was). Ha...see the didn't like part.
The king bed was comfortable but the sleeper sofa was so horrible that my daughters had to sleep on pillows. **Breakfast was awesome looking too bad we really didn't get to enjoy it the rt way. End time: 9:30. Very early for a Sunday. We didn't check in until almost midnight so we almost didn't make it to breakfast. We got down there at 9:20. At 9:25 the lights flickered and someone said 5 mins left... 5 mins later the food was literally ripped away from counters. Ppl walking in were told sorry..breakfast is over. I understand there has to be an end time but what was the insane race?...It was like.. beat the clock. I was lucky to get the last bit of waffle mix to make my daughters waffle but the syrup and butter had vanished (I did get some when I asked). Then I basically reached out with one hand for my english muffin or I wouldn't have had anything to eat. Also...spoke to night attendant about a late checkout and he told me I just had to call in the morning ..so, I called at about 8:30 for the later checkout & I was told no because too many ppl had already requested. What time in the morning was I supposed to call? It was almost 1am when I asked the first time? I was told that late check out was a reward member perk but so far whenever I ask for one I'm always told it's not available. :( Anyway...was just the thought...Not truly a huge deal because check out is later there anyway... We were away for the weekend and just wanted to relax a little more and maybe take the kids to the pool before we left. Oh well good thing that these were just silly annoying things and we felt safe and in a clean environment.
The location is excellent. The value for money is great. The rate included free parking, free breakfast and wi-fi. The rooms are very confortable and clean.
The breakfast could be better (more fruits).
Great suite, very clean. The managers reception each week night from 5 - 7pm with a free buffet and drinks was a great bonus. We liked is so much, we returned again at the end of our trip for another couple of nights.
